Since I was a little girl I have always dreamt of becoming a teacher, it was my dream and is now my passion. Since leaving school, I completed an apprenticeship in childcare then worked at a Nursery where I became the deputy manager, before leaving to nanny privately so I was able to study for my degree. In the past three and a half years I have worked mainly across Key Stage One at Great Kingshill School. One of the highlights has been to support the opening of the preschool last year. I have been extremely lucky to follow some of the preschool children I worked with last year into their reception class. This has been even more special for me, as it is my first year teaching and my first class. It has been such a privilege to watch the transformation of the children from September and I am so excited about the rest of the year.
Early Years teaching is where my passion lies and I am really excited about the training opportunities I have organised over the next 12 months. Every day is a new day, all completely different. Outside of work I love to keep active taking part in running clubs and boogie bounce!
