I grew up locally and went to Little Kingshill Primary School and subsequently Royal Grammar School. I went to the University of Reading to study Business Management. It was during this time that I decided to become a teacher.
After graduating I worked as a teaching assistant at a local school before entering into a PGCE at Brunel University. I have now been teaching for seven years, and I can honestly say it is incredibly fulfilling. I am a firm believer that learning should be fun, and that each child deserves to enjoy their time in school with fond memories they will cherish.
I am a self-professed geek, naturally introverted, and would be very happy curled up on a sofa reading a book; I enjoy watching rugby, playing board games and playing the drums.
