Aims
The school aims to use Pupil Premium funding to ensure that children in receipt of the funding:
Great Kingshill Combined School publishes the 3 year Pupil Premium Strategy Statement online annually. This is reviewed at the end of each academic year but there is also regular evaluation throughout the year. This Strategy Statement aims to detail information on how Pupil Premium has been used within school. Details are included on approaches used to ‘close the gap’. The expenditures will also be listed as part of the Strategy Statement and review. Regular updates will be presented on the progress of pupils supported by Pupil Premium to the Governing Body by the Lead PP teacher, SLT and/or the Headteacher. The Pupil Premium Strategy Statement will be a working document used in school throughout the year. The Strategy Statement has implicit links to curriculum areas; particularly English and Early Language Development and also to SEN and Inclusion.
